Uniform items can be purchased from Top One Uniforms (St John's Centre) or Bang Bang School Uniform (Lancaster Road)

Longsands PTFA also run a nearly new unform shop. 

They have a large stock of school and PE uniform available for a minimal cost. This is a great way of keeping costs down for families and gives a new home to uniform that pupils may have only worn for a very short time.

Earrings, watches and jewellery

Pupils may wear small stud earrings. For safety reasons, hoops are not permitted.

Studs must be removed for PE and sporting activities. Pupils must be able to remove earrings independently for these activities, staff will not take responsibility for removing any item of jewellery. Any child who is not able to remove their earrings independently must have them removed at home prior to coming to school.

Pupils are permitted to wear a simple analogue or digital watch. Smart watches are not permitted in line with our policy on wearable devices.

Religious artefacts/ personal items must be removed for PE and sporting activities. If they cannot be removed, pupils must wear tape over the jewellery which must be provided by parents/ carers.

The school does not take any responsibility for loss or damage to jewellery or watches.

Book Bags

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children require a blue Longsands book bag. Children in KS2 may use a small rucksack to carry their books and belongings. As storage is limited in school, please do not send in large bags.

Water bottles

Pupils are requested to bring a filled water bottle into school each day. This must have a secure sports cap lid. Children are able to refill these throughout the school day as required.

Air Up, Stanley cups and spray mist bottles are not suitable for school and school does not take accept responsibiity for their loss or damage.
