Dear Parents,

Once again thank you for all you are doing as key workers.  Staff at Longsands are keen to continue to support you and your children at this time. With this in mind, I have drawn up a staff rota to supervise the children in school during these two weeks. However, there will be no breakfast club or after school club during this period.

School will be available to key worker children from 8.55-3.20 each day [except Bank Holidays].

Unfortunately, we will not have the facilities to provide a hot school dinner for your child[ren]. If your child is attending school, then they will need to bring their own packed lunch for the day.

Please note that the offer of childcare during the Easter break is only open to those identified key workers who need to go into their place of work. Parents who are working from home are still expected to look after their own child[ren] throughout the crisis. School should only be used if no other childcare can be arranged.

I appreciate you may have already organised childcare over the holidays. Please be assured your child’s place at Longsands after Easter will remain open as and when you should require it.

I know shifts are constantly changing and it could be hard for you to predict when childcare will be needed but if you could email me with some indication of days that would help me rearrange staff rotas if needed. If you could let me know by Wednesday 1^st April where possible.
