Mrs McKeown's Update Thursday 26th March PM26 March 2020 (by Martin Coyne (m.coyne)) |
Good afternoon
I hope you are all well.
We are still waiting to find out about the Easter holidays and how this will be arranged for childcare and also the hours that will be provided. Schools are in daily contact with LCC through a newly designated link adviser who ask questions on how many children we have each day, number of staff onsite and also number of staff who would be available. All staff at the moment are either working from home, self isolating , have underlying health issues or on the rota for providing support in school for those children who need to be in due to work shifts for families. Once I find out from LCC the arrangements for Easter I will let you know.
The Department for Education coronavirus helpline is available to answer questions about COVID-19 relating to education and children’s social care. Staff, parents and young people can contact this helpline as follows:
Phone: 0800 046 8687
Opening hours: 8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday), 10am to 4pm (Saturday to Sunday)
Keep in touch and enjoy the sunny weather while you can.
