Good Morning
I am writing to inform you of a change to the school meal prices, which will come into, effect when we return in September.
Despite our best efforts to keep school meal prices at a consistent level over the last four years, we can longer absorb the increasing prices and demand this is placing on the school budget.
From Monday 4th September, the cost of a School Meal will be £2.65. The weekly cost for meals will be £13.25.
This price increase does not affect Free School Meal entitlement.
If your child is eligible to receive free school meals (if you are in receipt of a qualifying benefit), then your child’s meals will continue to be free. If you think, you could be eligible for free school meals then please check www.gov.uk/apply-free-school-meals
