Your teachers will be in touch soon via Seesaw regarding parents evening so please keep looking for the notification . 

Staff here do appreciate the tremendous effort you are putting into the home learning and even though it does not match the face to face contact children need in schools we have to make sure we continue to keep safe . Thank you to those parents who are only sending in their children when they really cannot find another way of childcare . Even if you need to send your child in for half a day it will make all the difference to the numbers in class. We need to protect all our staff . At the moment there is no sign of vaccines for school staff .Just as a reminder, a number of staff at Longsands are having to home school their  own children so there may be times when staff are not able to email you back beyond a certain time or may have to leave it until the following day. I am sure you can appreciate this.  

The half term break  will continue  as a full closure of school even for key workers so you may want to make sure your child has a place at a holiday club.
