Mrs McKeown's Update Thursday 18th June18 June 2020 (by Martin Coyne (m.coyne)) |
Good afternoon on this wet day.
I have had some fantastic large happy faces sent through to me using various household objects . I will be in touch with you soon !!!I It has been lovely to hear from those of you who have welcomed our wellbeing activities this week . One email said, ''Thank you so very much for suggesting this week they do well-being activities - it has been much needed!! It is vital children’s emotional awareness is developed for their wellbeing throughout life.''
Just a reminder Year 1 will be starting with us on their phased return next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and then again the following week on those same days . You will have your groups and the drop off and pick up points remain the same as previously sent home. Your day will start at 9.15 and finish at 2.45. Can I ask that you are punctual.
Year 6 you will have the last two weeks of term on the Wednesday Thursday and Friday. Mrs Worden will be in touch about the groups and I will send photos of how we would like you to come into school, where to wait and where to get picked up from. Year 6 your day will also be 9.15 until 2.45.
Reception class will not be able to come back with us now.
We are still waiting for the national plan and as soon as we know we will be in touch to let you know about September. .
As our numbers of children in school are increasing we will begin to ask KS2 parents who would like their child to take up the offer of school dinners to use Parentpay. Dinners remain at £2.30 . If you wish to have a packed lunch from home this also remains an option.
Keep in touch.
