Together Everyone Achieves More
I am pleased to warmly welcome you to Longsands Community Primary School.
I am incredibly proud to be the headteacher of Longsands, a school with family at its heart.
Our hard-working and enthusiastic staff are dedicated to providing an environment in which all children can thrive and achieve their potential. Through high quality teaching and learning, an inspiring curriculum and high expectations, our pupils develop a self-confidence and love of learning that prepares them for the next stage of their journey, both personal and academic.
Learning at Longsands Community Primary extends beyond the classroom to provide our pupils with opportunities to try new things and bring learning to life. Our extensive school grounds also support a Forest School curriculum and opportunities for outdoor learning.
We are an inclusive school, welcoming all members of our community.
Alongside British Values, our own Longsands Values support our children in becoming
caring, confident, resilient, respectful and responsible members of our community and the wider world.
At Longsands, we pride ourselves on forming positive, working partnerships with and between families, staff, governors and our community.
I hope you find the information on our website useful.
If you have any enquiries or wish to visit the school to experience what makes Longsands Community Primary School special, please do not hesitate to contact us.
